SPECIAL
COMMITTEES APPOINTMENT
1. In
accordance with Article X, Bylaws of the Department of Kansas, the following
special committee is re-appointed.
NATIONAL
ENCAMPMENT COMMITTEE
2. The
purpose of this committee is to prepare and present proposals to the National
Site Selection Committee requesting
for the Department of Kansas to host a National Encampment. Committee shall remain in contact with the
National committee and arrange to meet with them annually during the National
Encampment. Once an agreement by
National has been received for hosting a National Encampment, the function of
the Department National Encampment Committee shall become that of organizing
all efforts for the actual hosting of the encampment.
3. The committee shall meet as deemed necessary
by the chairman. The committee shall prepare a report to be presented to the Department
Encampment on their activities for the year.
A copy of the committee report shall be forwarded to the Department
Commander and the Department Secretary who shall include such reports in the
minutes of the Department Encampment.
4. I hereby appoint the
following members to the National Encampment Committee:
