Description: A granite soldier at rest is mounted on a square granite column. The column is inscribed: “In ~ Memory Of ~ Union ~ Soldiers ~ And ~ Sailors ~ Who Rest In ~ Unknown ~ Graves ~ Rest In Peace”. The back of the column includes: “G.A.R. ~ 61 – 65”.

A bronze American Legion medallion is mounted at the base of the adjoining flagpole.
