Corporal Patrick Coyne Camp No. 1

Wichita

Corporal Patrick Coyne Camp No. 1 is located in Wichita.  The Camp meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Disabled American Veterans' building, 3011 S. George Washington Blvd., in Wichita.

This camp was the first camp to be formed in Kansas during our renewal of the Department in the mid 1990's.  It is presently the largest Camp in Kansas, and its members are very active in numerous projects and community activities in the Wichita area.

Sergeant Samuel J. Churchill Camp No. 4

Lawrence

Sgt. Samuel J. Churchill Camp No. 4 meets at the Watkins Museum of History, 11th & Massachusetts Streets, in Lawrence.  Camp meetings are held at 7 PM on the third Thursday of the month.

Mine Creek Camp No. 6

Pleasanton/Fort Scott

Mine Creek Camp No. 6 is officially located at the Mine Creek Battlefield just South of Pleasanton, KS.  The camp was organized on September 18, 2005.  For the convenience of most of its members, meetings are normally held in Fort Scott, with work sessions at the battlefield.

Old Abe Camp No. 16

Topeka

Old Abe Camp No. 16 is located in Topeka.  The Camp meets at Perkin's Restaurant, 1720 S.W. Wanamaker Rd., Topeka, at 6:30 PM on the first Thursday of each month.  Named and numbered after the original SUVCW Camp in Topeka, Old Abe Camp's members are presently undertaking several projects in the area, both on individual and the Camp level.  The camp schedules work projects on the fourth Saturday of each month (March through October) at the Topeka Cemetery.
